Rosie Knoppel (second from left in the photo below), the wonderful coordinator of the Timaru/Aoraki Newcomers Network very recently received the Runner Up Award in the TrustPower Community Award presentation. She received this for the great work she is doing for Timaru/Aoraki Newcomers Network and for the Aoraki Migrant Centre also. Rosie has expanded the Newcomers Network in recent times, and there are welcoming Newcomers Network coordinators in Geraldine (Delia) and in Waimate too (Bev)!
